Although they won't cause any problems with the guitar's tone or playability, fretboard divots or scars can look unsightly.
The major cause of divots on a fretboard are from the player over gripping and/or having long fingernails. This wasn't the case in our photo, this scar was left by a falling cymbal!
Marks like these can be hidden on most porous wood boards (rosewood, ebony). If your board's not looking too great we can help.
